I normally have a great diet and i don’t ingest more than 300 mg of caffeine after noon. I get at least 7 hours of sleep most nights and I’m not diabetic. I just end up feeling tired.
Any recommendations?
Prescriptions?
Natural?
I Constantly Feel Tired Throughout The Day Even With A Full Nights Sleep?

Alex,
You’ve eliminated the some likely causes by mentioning the great diet, the caffeine, and the diabetes. 7 hours of sleep may not be enough in your situation. If you can, get 8 hours for a few weeks and see if you feel better. That extra hour can make a difference due to circadian rhythms.
But what if you can’t get that extra hour? Try to make your sleep deeper each night like this:
1. Make sure the room is totally dark.
2. Eat a protein snack 2 hours before bed
3. Wear gloves and socks to bed.
4. Keep the room at about 70
5. Don’t turn the light on when you go pee in the middle of the night (this can really mess with deep sleep and those circadian rhythms I mentioned).
If you want more ideas theres a resource online with more tips like this and much more detail. I’ll include the link below if you are interested.
I don’t think you will need a prescription. Your tiredness is probably just your body saying that it wants a bit more or deeper sleep. Give this stuff a try and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
I wish you luck feeling alert and awake all day long,
John
Are you outside much, and is it winter where you are?
Vitamin D deficiency from not getting a lot of sun will make you tired all the time. I started taking an extra vitamin D pill every day along with a normal multivitamin, and it helped a ton.
I think there are a lot of reasons…
