my dad is a heart patient and also has diabetes. since few days he is feeling some pain in his right HAND. he had his angioplasty 4 years back. I forcing him to go to the doctor but he refuses every time. his age is 51. Any one help me with the diagnose and if its serious i’ll trick him to go to the doctor.

His current conditions warrant a doctor’s visit. The “pain” in his hand may be diabetic neuropathy (decreased feeling due to tissue problems), may be something more. Usually if something is wrong with the heart in a male, it would be the LEFT hand and arm that would be in pain. Although no signs are definite, sounds like you dad is having is related to his diabeties. I don’t know your father’s age, race, problems or history, so it is hard to decide what is wrong. There is nothing wrong with going to the doctor with concerns………….please do!

You don’t need to trick him. Diabetes is serious. His heart problem is also serious. He may have decreased blood flow to his hand. If the pain in his hand has been on going for a few days it is TIME to see the Dr. Just do it!
