Constantly Hungry And Tired?

November 23rd, 2009 § Tags: , , Posted in Diabetes Symptoms § § 4 comments

ls: I’ve always been constantly hungry, but lately its just increasing. 20 minutes after i eat, I feel hungry. I’ll leave it alone and wait it out and it may subside for another half hour and then im hungry again. Im also always very tired. I can still function fine, but im tired from when i wake up around 7 until about 10, then exhausted again by 6pm and ready for bed.
I dont think they are connected but the last 8 months or so I’ve been off and on dizzy (doctor swears its just a virus that can last up to a year)I’ve always had headaches and they do continue now, and the past few months I’ve been off and on naucious from time to time. I DO have anxiety, i WAS anemic but im not sure i am anymore, I am NOT pregnant, and I do not have diabetes, i have been tested.
thanks!

i am actually the same way! i took a blood test for it and the doctors say it does have to do with being anemic but also if you are constantly sitting. i know this sounds cliche but exercise helps so much!

    Try a high protein diet.
Such as 2 eggs & 4 strips of bacon in the morning.
    1 8oz burger patty & a salad for lunch.
Steak & green veggies for dinner.
    Hope this helps.

Get your thyroid tested. I was the same way. I don’t think I was really hungry all the time, I just wanted the sugar to wake me up. You might have a hypo-thyroid, meaning it is under performing. Your thyroid affects alot of things and there are supplement hormone pills to bring the levels back to normal.

Could it be depression or mono?
