@$%# get checked out asap! sounds exactly like type 1 diabetes get a blood glucose or ketone test at your nearest doctor, don’t wait go now!!!!
99 is a PRETTY big number. I really feel bad for you since my mother has diabetes too. My mother doesn’t feel thirsty that often but she does have high sugar level in her blood. What you can do is to have a proper checkup. If you are really scared of it, that “what if you really have diabetes”, then still I would strongly recommend you to have a proper checkup so they can recommend you some insulin. Please, do it. It’s a request.
Thirst is a symptom of diabetes. Along with frequent urination, extreme hunger, blurry vision and fatigue. If you have any of these symptoms go and see your doctor for a simple blood test.
It may not be diabetes but a blood test will let you know either way.
Ignoring diabetes and symptoms can lead to complications in your health so why not get it checked out to be sure. Just call your local doctor and explain what you want.
99 is not that bad. But how many years ago? what did you eat or drink before the test and how soon before the test. Without seeing recent cbc or other tests no one can tell you definatively if you are diabetic. I will tell you that your symptoms are classic of diabetes but could also be caused by a number of other ailments. Depression, sleep apnea, anemia, all other kinds of illnessnes can cause these symptoms. My advice to you would be to consult your physician on the matter and have them test you. You have reason to be concerned, but dont write yourself off as diabetic yet
Well, that really happens in the winter. I got checked for diabetes because like everyone in my family has it basically, my blood sugar was fine too. I get really dehydrated in the winter, so I think that’s it. You might wanna get checked again, just to make sure.
Good luck.
Still Thirsty eh? The problem here is simply you are overreacting, what your mind believes your body turns into reality. Its all in your head , but if you still insist you have diabetes then simply check with a doctor again.
one of my last fasting blood sugar test at the dr was 99 and dr. said I am fine…..Go to your doctor and ask for a A1C test…
That sucks……
Idk probably
