Diabetes Symptoms? Or Not? I Need Help Please.?

I have been urinating frequently and have vaginal burning. I went to a doctor on December 10 and my urine was tested but it was clean. There was blood in my urine and the doctor said it was due to me just having my period the week before. I was given medication for the frequent urination and for yeast infection (vaginal burning) but I still continued to urinate frequently and was still experiencing vaginal burning.

I went back the following week (December 17) and the doctor retested my urine and again it was clean. I was also re-examined for the yeast infection but I didn’t have one again. The doctor also said that the burning and frequent urination also can be STDs (Chlamydia and Gonohrrhea), but I got tested in October and the tests were clean (negative). The doctor gave me another medication for the frequent urination, which I took.

I got my period today and I am usually sick a week or more before I get it. So I was urinating frequently from last week (even though I was taking the medication for frequent urination) and as of today I’m urinating more. I usually urinate often while I have my period but never before. The vaginal burning (most likely yeast infection) came back on Thursday and has increased.

Is this frequent urination and vagnal burning just associated with my period or can it be something else? Also I’ve been really thirsty often and feeling really hungry and eating often. Everyone is different but are these just normal things that go along with a period?

All the things I mentioned above are also linked to Diabetes. I had my blood suagr tested in October and it was 93. I did it again in November and it was 84. Is it possible for me to contract diabetes now in December since I’m experiencing all its symptoms? Also, is it possible for me to have an STD when I got tested in October and the results were negative, and I haven’t been sexually active in a year? I really need to know what I should do because I’m concerned about my health.

Thanks to anyone who answers. I really appreciate it.

Answer
I have a lot of diabetics in my family and it does not sound like you have diabetes … there are many more symptoms associated with it and you don’t mention any of them. Plus, the isues you state with urinary and vaginal problems are minimal compared with the other diabetic symptoms, and they seem to be your main problem.

I have had many bladder infections, and some of them culture out of my urine even when my urine is “clean”. You sound to me like you have a bladder infection that is not being picked up. Tell your doctor to do a culture even though your urine test is ok.

As far as the vaginal problems go, an option may be that you are allergic to the type of sanitary supplies you are using. I have had similar symptoms in the past until I found a brand of pads that I could use, and I can’t use tampons every day or I get very irritated. When the irriation from my pads and tampons starts, it takes until almost the next period before it is gone. You could also still have an STD or a vaginitis caused by some other bacteria or virus, it sounds like your doctor only checked for a few. Unless the lab is told to test for each specific organism, there will not be results for each one. One bacteria that is becoming more common and causes those symptoms is MRSA, you might have your doctor check for that.

your numbers are fine, now, if they were around 175 or higher bad. if under 60 bad. quit eating junk food, eat real food, not fast food. just try it for a month, see if things don’t change. exercise.
trust me your doctor would not miss diabetes, that is one serious problem.
and another thing lay off foods that contain yeast will getting treated for a yeast infection

    1. You do not have diabetes
    2. You need to have a vaginal smear to find out if you have a
sexually transmitted disease, and the only way you are
going to get one of those is if you are having sexual
    intercourse.
    3. you sound more like bacterial vaginosis or perhaps a
yeast infection. Maybe you should try some monistat
    inserts or see a gynecologist.

It doesn’t sound like Diabetes, your BS are normal. If u are having sex as your dr if the semen is causing an allergic condition or a condom causing this imflamation. Have u tried the over the counter Vagisil. But I would ask these questions to the dr. If everything is coming back neg, keep looking.
