Worried something may be wrong with bladder control, is this symptom of Diabetes or could it be more serious?

it could be caused by diabetes yes, but it may not be, you never know. the safest bet would be to go in and make a doctors appointment to make sure everything is okay.
Did you maybe have a dream where you were urinating? I have them often for some reason, probably because I need to get up and go pee, and one time when I was your age I wet the bed too. Very embarrassing, but things like that happen. Unless you see a pattern of it, I would just chalk it up to something like that. It’s never happened to me again, I always manage to wake up when I dream about it.
it could be a sign that your blood sugars are too high. i have type-1 and when my blood sugar is too high for too long, i sometimes have problems holding it. so be sure to keep good track of your blood sugar, a lot!! you have to be really careful with diabetes, because it can cause all kinds of complications.
Get tested for diabetes insipidus. (has nothing to do with high blood sugar or “sugar” diabetes) It involves the kidneys and can be very dangerous. Wetting the bed is not normal for a 22 year old, and you should see a doctor now.
It’s not normal – the problem may be due to increased urine volume that occurs with high blood sugar. Another possibility is a urinary tract infection, which diabetic people are more susceptible to. Please go to a doctor to figure it out!

I take it this is not normal TOO YOU. So , I would have check for bladder infection or enlarged prostate. I don’t know of any 22 yr. olds that pee the bed.Also this may not be related to Diabetes
